Brightkidz Educational Toys (www.brightkidz.com.cy) owns and operates this website. This document governs your relationship with www.brightkidz.com.cy. Access to and use of this website and the products and services available through this website are subject to the following terms and conditions. By visiting or shopping within this website you are agreeing to accept these conditions which may be updated from time to time. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes to our terms and conditions as well as our privacy terms.

Here at Brightkidz Educational Toys we are committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. This section informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information that we receive from users of the site.

Collection and use of personal data for user accounts and orders
When you make an account with us you will be asked for personal data such as name, address, telephone number and email address. This data will be stored so that every time you need to make an order you will not have to retype your details. By choosing to set up an educator’s account rather than an individual’s account you will be asked for extra details such as your teachers registration number and present or previous workplace (name of school, kindergarten or educational establishment). Educator’s are entitled to educator’s discounts on certain educational products. Brightkidz Educational Toys reserve the right to check that these details are correct. You must provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself where required and ensure that this information is kept up to date.
Once you have completed your account set up you will have a user name which will be your email address and your chosen password. As you will be fully responsible for all activities which occur under your username and password you must make sure that you keep them confidential and in a secure place and they must not be disclosed to anyone. Any unauthorized use or breach of security must be reported to us as soon as you are aware of it.
You will also have the choice to make an order without an account in place by clicking on Quick Checkout. Here you will be asked to give us the necessary data in order for us to process the order and comply with our legal obligations.
Payment can be made either through your Paypal account or you can choose to pay cash on delivery.
In order to create an account or make an order you must be at least eighteen years old or a minor with consent from a parent or guardian.
How we store your data
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Who we may share your personal data with
We sometimes share your personal data with trusted third parties in order to pursue our legitimate interests in a way which might be reasonably be expected as part of running our business and which does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests. For example, your data may need to be passed on to delivery couriers, web developers, to handle complaints and so on.

Marketing emails
When you make an account with us you will be asked if you would like to give permission to receive newsletters from us. You must actively tick the consent box for this. Newsletters may include marketing material about exiting new product arrivals, promotions, store events and so on.
If at any time you want to stop receiving our emails you are free to opt-out. Simply scroll to the bottom of any email and click on the “Unsubscribe” link. This link (available on every email we send) will then take you to a confirmation page where you can unsubscribe from future email marketing campaigns. Alternatively, simply email info@brightkidz.com.cy with a request for us to remove you from our mailing list and we will do this manually within one working day.
You will still however receive emails of transactional nature, such as order confirmations, password reset requests or any other emails you would expect like those required by law or any emails that you specifically request.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Prices
All prices quoted are in euros and include VAT. The standard rate of VAT is 19% for toys and 3% for books. Where a reduced price is displayed, the original price is also quoted. Prices do not include delivery charges which will be displayed at the checkout.
Availability
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including, on rare occasions, after you have placed your order. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will let you know as soon as we can. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time. In these circumstances you will be advised.
Product descriptions
While we have made every effort to show and describe our products as accurately as possible, in rare cases the final product may differ slightly from the images shown. We sometimes substitute products of a similar description where for example, the original item becomes unavailable. Where this happens, we will inform you at the time of ordering. We have tried to describe all products fairly and the dimensions are approximate only. Packaging may vary from that shown in the product image.
Placing an order and payment terms
You can either order online by creating account or using quick checkout. Creating an account will mean that you do not have to re-enter your details every time you wish to process an order with us. Alternatively, you can order by telephone 99840824 or by email us with your order and contact details. Ordering online/in writing is more efficient and mistakes are less likely to be made. When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order.Please note that when you order for the first time online we will call you to confirm that your telephone number is correct before sending out your order.
Payment can be made by visa card, Paypal, or you will have the option to pay cash on delivery at chosen Akis Express or ACS branch. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled.
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order.

Delivery
Your order will be dispatched within 1-2 working days of your order.
Delivery will be to your nearest Akis Express which you will have the option of choosing during check out. Delivery is free for all online paid orders for €30 and over. For online paid orders under €30 there will be a one-way delivery charge of €2,50. For online orders that will be paid at your Akis Express pick-up point there will be a shipping charge of €3,90. You also have the option to order online and pick up your order directly from our shop.

Cancellation Policy

Orders paid by visa card cannot be cancelled once paid for. Orders paid by Paypal or to be paid cash at your chosen Akis Express or ACS must be cancelled before we send out the order. Once the order has been sent out it cannot be cancelled and must be picked up. The order can then be treated as a return.
Return Policy
If any part of your order is not as expected then please contact us at info@brightkidz.com.cy or call us on +357 99840824 and we will do all we can to correct the issue. This includes obvious faults, missing parts or any other issues. Please note, all issues must be reported to us within 30 days of receipt. If for some reason you would like to return an item as you have changed your mind, please return it to our store in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt. Items must be returned in an unused condition, in their original and unopened packaging. You will be entitled to replace the item or to a refund. When returning an order by courier you will be responsible for return delivery charges unless the item is faulty or if the item was inaccurately described at the time of the purchase.
